Bad accident after surfing

Hi All,
I was involved in a terrible tragic accident on July 28th, 2021 on the 5 freeway in Southern California. I was driving in my van and a car began driving the wrong way on the freeway, going horizontally instead of straight. They completely lost control of their car and it collided with my van. To make matters worse a car then hit us from behind resulting in my van being totaled.
A sad accident that truly could not be avoided. In addition to the loss of my prized possession, my boyfriend was rushed to the ER with a serious head wound resulting in 24 stitches to his head and eye.
My body is still aching and sore from the accident but thankful that there were no broken bones, or so far, other immediate injuries that came from this…time will only tell. Right now, Ethan and I are nursing our wounds, taking it easy and hoping to feel better.
For those that know me, have had the opportunity to hang out in my van or perhaps have even seen me driving around town, you likely know how important that van was to me…it actually wasn’t just a van, it was so much more.
To give you a little background; I love to thrift clothes and people would always ask me where I bought my clothes. So I decided to start selling my thrifted clothes to friends and my other followers on social media. Over the year I was able to fully fund the purchase of my van (Sugaree). To me it wasn’t just a van, I worked on it everyday to personalize it, even making curtains for the windows and redoing the floors to make it my home away from home.
It brought me and those around me a lot of joy as it really was a one-of-a-kind van. My Sugaree.
Sadly, Sugaree is at a junkyard ready to be smashed into a cube of scrap metal. I know I can’t replace her but if anyone wants to help in my journey to try…any donations even as small as a couple of dollars will help in my goal to give Sugaree a proper send off and to pave the way for Sugaree’s little sister to come into my life.
I haven’t found her yet, nor do I have the money, but maybe with a little help, I will be back on the road spreading good vibes and love to all that I encounter.
