Morgan Tackett is an astoundingly empathetic, resilient, and creative young person with a passion for living the fullest, best life she can imagine for herself. As a result of living with epilepsy and an epilepsy-related depressive disorder for the majority of her 19 years, Morgan will soon reach the end of her inspiring journey alongside the selfless love and care of our family, friends, and her caregivers at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
In an act of altruistic mercy, Morgan's parents Mike and Tracey Tackett and her brother Mason have surrendered their claim to Morgan's personhood, which she has begun to surrender as well.
I am proposing this fundraiser as a means to help The Tackett Family pay for Morgan's medical and memorial expenses as well as their basic living expenses over the duration of the early stages of forthcoming grieving and healing. Every penny will be so greatly appreciated.
Morgan has followed her healing heart to many in need and I want us to follow her example by helping to heal her family in her absence. We are #MorgansHealers.
