My name is Dalonta Crudup, and I am the founder of Heartfelt Heroes, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering at-risk youth in Washington DC. As a lifelong resident of this community, I've witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by many young people, from limited educational opportunities to exposure to violence.
