Help Heat Home of Institute Priests

Tax deductible
The priests of The Institute of Christ the King in Chicago have been working to rebuild their church after a devastating fire in October 2015. Please visit http://shrinelandmark.org/  to see more information.  While this has been a very demanding task, it has never kept them from going above and beyond always -- to serve OTHERS.  They make our problems their own, and help us through them always.  Their most current effort to aid our local community was a clothing and food drive for families in need during the upcoming winter months.

Meanwhile, the priests themselves are in great need!  Due in part to a broken vacuum pump, both the living and sleeping quarters have NO HEAT AT ALL!  What's more, the basement where Holy Mass is currently offered (while the church is being reconstructed) is always at risk of flooding because of the broken, rusty pump.  This also takes a toll on the boiler, which is working hard to overcompensate.  The  church priory is completely without heat so the priests are working, praying and sleeping in the cold!

Please prayerfully consider making a donation to help these good and holy men this winter.  They receive no organized funding from the Archdiocese of Chicago and rely entirely on our generosity.  The bid to replace the broken vacuum pump is $4,200.  Any amount is greatly appreciated.  We are grateful for your generosity towards our good priests.  May God bless you for sharing your blessings with these holy men this winter!
