Help Heath Thorpe fund appeal fees and World Cups

Hello friends, fans and family.

This fundraiser has been set up to help me pay for the legal fees (approx. $19,000) associated with my appeal for my non-selection to the 2023 World Championships team. This cost covers the internal appeal fees, the NST fees as well as my legal team costing.

I am also raising funds to help self-fund my upcoming competitions at the Mersin and Szombathely FIG World Challenge Cup Series that will take place in September. This too, was an unexpected cost as I was anticipating to be competing at the World Championships (fully funded) around this time.

Whilst I am a person who doesn't like to ask for help, I, unfortunately, have not been left with much of a choice. I am super fortunate to have content creation/social media provide income, but as you can imagine as a 22-year-old, trying to be financially independent and live interstate from family to train, I cannot afford almost $20,000 for the appeal as well as almost $10,000 for the World Cups easily.

Gymnastics is already incredibly expensive with training costs, travel and medical amongst other necessities that are not funded.
