Help Heather and Michael Get To Baby Remy

My name is Abby Wheatfill and I’m raising funds for Heather and Michael Masters. Heather taught both of my children in first grade and one of my children in second grade. She is an incredible person and has brought immense blessings to our family.

Heather and her husband, Michael, are navigating the unexpected as they welcome their first child, Remy, into the world.

Remy was born on October 12. When he was only a couple of days old, he became lifeless while feeding. Emergency services came to their apartment immediately and were able to revive his heart, but he needed to be incubated to breath. He was brought to Chandler Regional Hospital where he continued to receive lifesaving interventions, then eventually transferred via helicopter to Phoenix Children's Hospital. He was in extremely critical condition and on life support.

After an MRI, it was determined that both sides of his brain have severe damage and Remy was diagnosed with severe cerebral palsy.

By God’s grace, Remy is improving each day! Miracles have already been evident in this sweet baby boy’s life as he continues to receive care in the hospital.

Heather and Michael have one vehicle. The hospital is a commute from Heather and Michael’s home. With Michael going back to work and using their shared car, Heather is left with the need of transportation to get to her son.
