Hello, my name is Hannah Laulis and I work with Heather Mayle at Mace’s Pharmacy in Philippi, WV. For the last 3 and a half years Heather has been dealing with a wound on her leg that refuses to heal. It started as a small sore from a pair of boots rubbing against her skin, but since then it’s been an uphill battle.
Heather has
- been to over 12 doctors in varying specialties.
- had multiple surgeries including sealing veins around the wound and a skin graft that has failed.
- been seen at the Cleveland Clinic with no answers.
- not to mention wearing a wound vac as well as multiple treatments that have had no effect.
But now Heather has been accepted as a patient at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota that specializes in similar wound treatment! We’re hoping this will give her answers and finally some relief from constant pain.
This has happened quickly and has come at a surprising cost. Any donations would go toward the price of plane tickets, accommodations, assorted travel fees, and medical bills. Anything would be helpful and so appreciated.
