Help Heather Overcome Medical Hurdles

Our sweet friend, Heather, has spent the last 10 days in the hospital and has many more days and challenges ahead of her!!

After fighting a migraine for 2 days last week, on Monday Morning, May 6th, Heather passed out and fell! Breaking 2 vertebrae and causing 2 other disc herniations!! This is just above the area where she already has plates and a fusion, causing even more issues!!

Today, Heather and her family traveled to meet with a neurosurgeon to discuss the next steps.

Yesterday, Heather was delivered the news that she has a MRSA infection in her bladder and UTI tract. This is going to require a lot of travel expenses for expensive antibiotic infusions, Heather will be needing this 2x a day! The MRSA has to be taken care of prior to any surgery that would need to take place!

As of 1:30pm today, May 14th, Heather is having two more emergency MRI’s. The neurosurgeon feels he has found more damage higher up in the thoracic spine area!
