Help Heather's Son Fight Stage 4 Cancer

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Heather Holmes. I’m starting this fundraiser to hopefully gain some help from wonderful people such as yourself to help me out in this time of need. On May 16, 2024, my son was diagnosed with stage four Ewing's sarcoma (bone cancer) and lung cancer. Since then, it’s been a strain of rollercoaster rides to manage doctor's appointments, treatments, and being able to work.

On December 5, 2024, he had surgery to remove his humerus bone where the cancer started and spread to the lungs. I am a single mom of two; my youngest is 12 years old. On top of struggling to stay working for the bills, I’ve also struggled to get food in our house for our family to be able to eat every day.

On February 7, 2025, the surgeon told us that he believes the cancer has spread to the elbow, which means what we thought was the end would just start over again, and I’d miss even more work due to the intense treatments and radiation treatments that we have to attend every day instead of twice a week. My boyfriend does help, but it’s getting hard on him to have to pay the expenses just to be able to have some kind of peace of mind during our hard times. We have doctor's appointments scheduled to get more testing done to see if the cancer has spread anymore. Needless to say, we’re really struggling to keep our heads above water, to say the least.

We’re truly grateful for any and all donations while we fight what seems to be a never-ending battle. All we want is for our son to be a healthy young man again and cancer-free.
Update:
So as of this afternoon we were told that Timmy’s cancer has spread to the lymph nodes of his right armpit and he has now 7 nodes on his lungs working is going to be hard as we move forward with the treatments

starting on March 3,2025 we will have to travel from Glen Carbon Illinois to Cardinal Glennon in St.Louis Missouri everyday for him to receive chemotherapy via port access which could get a bit expensive in gas so not only is your donation helping pay bills it will also go towards gas to get us back and forth and again we’re so grateful even if you can’t donate that’s okay just a sharing is helping, so thank you all so very much
