Help Heba Rebuild Life After Surviving Genocide
Donation protected
My name is Heba Slaisel, and I am a laboratory technician who once called Khan Younis City in Gaza home. However, my world was shattered when my house was bombed during the Khan Younis attack, forcing me to flee to Der Al-Balah with nothing but clothes on my back. My once vibrant city has now become a ghost town, with destruction as far as the eye can see. All my cherished memories and belongings are now lost forever in the rubble.
For over 130 days, the horrors of war have ravaged my homeland, leaving behind only despair and devastation. With each passing day, the challenges of survival grow more daunting. The constant threat of bombings, the bitter cold, the spread of disease, and the specter of starvation haunt every moment of my existence. Yet, amidst the despair, I cling to a sliver of hope for a better tomorrow.
My dream has always been to pursue higher education and complete my master's degree. However, the harsh realities of life in Gaza make it increasingly uncertain if I will ever have the opportunity to realize this dream. But I refuse to let go of hope. Despite the overwhelming odds stacked against me, I have taken the courageous step of applying to universities abroad, with the hope of escaping the ongoing genocide in Gaza and securing a brighter future.
I am reaching out to you, dear friends and compassionate strangers, in a plea for help to support my journey towards a new beginning. Your generous contributions will not only empower me to escape the cycle of violence and despair but also enable me to rebuild my life when peace finally prevails in Gaza. Every dollar donated will be a beacon of hope, guiding me towards a future where I can pursue my dreams without fear or hindrance.
I have applied to attend the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) in the United States, where I aspire to continue my education and work towards a better future. With your support, I can embark on this journey towards a brighter tomorrow, where the horrors of war are but a distant memory.
Please, stand with me in solidarity as I strive to rebuild my life and pursue my dreams. Your generosity will not only change my life but also serve as a testament to the enduring power of compassion and humanity in the face of adversity.
Thank you for your kindness, your support, and your belief in a better future for all.
With gratitude,
Heba Slaisel
Greetings to you all,
NOTE:
My name is Rolla, and I've established this campaign on behalf of my talented cousin. T
The funds raised will cover various expenses to facilitate her evacuation from Gaza: $5,000 for evacuation costs, $2,000 for her tickets to the USA, $1,500 for essential needs like food, medicine, and clothes, $5,000 for the first-semester tuition, and funds for her first year's housing. The money will be used to pay her directly as soon as she arrives in Egypt. Your support is immensely appreciated.
Thank you.
