Help Helen Gibb Rebuild Her Home (And Her Studio)

Hello! I'm Nancy Bocskor, and like many of you receiving this request, a former student and great admirer of ribbon artist Helen Gibb.

Helen and her husband, Jim, lost everything in the fires that devastated Louisville and other cities in Colorado . Everything is gone: their home and car -- and her entire studio, filled with her magnificent ribbon collection, books, sewing machine, fabrics and other supplies. The ribbonwork she lost includes antique French ribbon, trim, metallics and tassels. It's heartbreaking.

While she does have insurance, it will never be enough for her to rebuild her life -- and restore her studio.

I'm starting this GoFundMe drive with Helen's permission. She has brought such creativity and beauty to our lives in the Crazy Quilt and Ribbonwork community. Might you return a bit of joy to Helen's world? Any contribution will help her put the pieces of her life back together. Thank you!
