Help Helix HS Band Replace Stolen Generators
Tax deductible
On Saturday, October 8th, Helix Instrumental Music Association (HIMA) was robbed. Individuals broke into the storage building containing essential equipment for the Helix Charter High School marching band. Many items were taken, including two generators, assorted tools, instruments, canopies, lighting, a portable gas range camping stovetop and cooler, on top of food used for concession fundraising at football games and other events.
Our competitive marching season begins this Saturday, October 15th, and all of these stolen items are essential for the students to compete. This is our very first competition since 2019. The students, staff, family, friends and alumni have spent countless hours preparing and fundraising for this competition season, only to be devastated by this senseless act of theft and vandalism. We're asking the community for help with donations so we can replace the stolen items as soon as possible.
Any donation will help make an impact on the music program. Thank you in advance for your support and generosity!
