Help Korrin During Her Battle with Meningitis

My name is Cheri and I am looking to help another mother so close to my family and I that I consider her to be a sister.

Korrin and her husband, Trevor, decided to take their first trip away from home since having children (something Korrin was already anxious about being a very involved mother to her two beautiful twins). Not only one day into the trip, Korrin’s worst nightmare came true: she fell extremely ill. Korrin caught Meningitis rendering her unable to speak or walk, and unconscious for long periods of time. For those of you who don’t know, Meningitis is a severe infection that causes inflammation of the tissues surrounding the brain and spinal cord. To add to that, Meningitis can be fatal within 24 hours and Korrin’s condition was so extreme it landed her in the ICU in Rome.

As of right now, Korrin and Trevor are in Europe indefinitely and not able to get home until she has made a full recovery. At the moment, there is a lot of uncertainty with her condition and while she has been able to slowly walk and speak again, she has been suffering an excruciating amount of pain to do so.

At this time, I am seeking financial help for Korrin and Trevor with the unexpected costs that have come with navigating her medical journey in a different country, as well as, the harsh reality that when she is able to return to Canada, she will be unable to work for a period of time.

Korrin and Trevor are as kind as they come and their kiddos miss their mom and dad immensely. If you know Korrin, you know that she doesn’t even want to get better for herself - she wants to get better so that she can get home to her kids and be the super mom that she always has been.
