Emergency Fund for Herat-AFG Earthquake Victims

Today, multiple devastating earthquakes have tragically claimed the lives of thousands of people in #Herat, Afghanistan, and left thousands injured and in desperate need of urgent support. The people of Afghanistan were already facing a humanitarian crisis, and this tragedy has pushed society to the brink.

On behalf of the Heratian Community in North America, we've launched this GoFundMe campaign with a singular purpose: to provide immediate and essential assistance to the affected people in Herat by a volunteer team of professionals. Volunteers are committed to providing crucial resources such as food, water, sanitation, blankets, and lifesaving medicine. 100% of this fund will assist the affected people. Additionally, we aim to bolster the deployment of rescue teams to the affected villages to provide food and shelter, save lives, and restore hope.

امروز زلزله‌های ویران‌گر متعدد، جان هزاران نفر را در ولایت هرات به صورت غم انگیزی گرفت و هزاران زخمی و بی سرپناه برجا گذاشت. از آن‌جایی که افغانستان در‌کنار سایر نابسامانی‌ها با بحران اقتصادی شدیدی دست‌و‌پنجه نرم‌می‌کند، وقوع این حادثه‌ی المناک، جامعه را به سوی مشکلات بسا دشوارتر کشانیده است.

به نمایندگی از جامعه‌ی هراتیان در آمریکای شمالی، ما این کمپاین جمع‌آوری کمک‌ را با هدف ارائه‌ی کمک‌های فوری و ضروری به مردم آسیب‌دیده در هرات راه‌اندازی کرده‌ایم. کمک‌ها از طریق یک تیم رضاکار در ساحه، در قالب مواد خوراکی، مواد بهداشتی، وسایل گرمایشی، تهیه سرپناه و داروهای ضروری به مردم آسیب دیده خواهد رسید. علاوه بر این، ما در صدد اعزام گروه‌های نجات بیشتری به این مناطق هستیم.

هر دالری که کمک می‌کنید، می‌تواند جان یک انسانی که در زیر آوارها گیر مانده است را نجات دهد و یا روزنه‌ی امیدی باشد برای کسانی که از این حادثه جان سالم به در برده اند، اما آذوقه و یا سرپناهی برای زنده‌ماندن ندارند.
