Help Herbert Get Emergency Surgery:

Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,

I’m reaching out with a heartfelt plea to help my beloved cat, Herbert, in his urgent fight for survival. Herbert, the gentlest soul, came into my life in October 2023, seeking refuge and care after being abandoned outside by a previous owner. Now, this precious boy is facing a battle he can’t win alone.

Herbert has been diagnosed with aggressive Mast Cell Cancer, affecting his spleen, skin, and likely spreading to his intestines. He urgently needs a life-saving surgery to remove his spleen to slow the cancer’s spread. This surgery alone is estimated to cost between $4,000 and $5,000. Additionally, Herbert will need funds for his in-hospital stay, medications, and potentially even a blood transfusion during his recovery.

But that’s not all Herbert is facing: he’s also battling kidney disease, chronic pancreatitis, and inflammatory bowel disease. Despite multiple medications, injections, special foods, and frequent hospital visits, Herbert’s condition is fragile.

I am doing everything I can to give Herbert the best care possible, but as a disabled individual on a fixed income, the mounting medical costs are overwhelming. I’ve poured my heart and savings into his care, but now I’m reaching out to ask for your help.

Herbert has given me so much love, joy, and companionship, and I can’t imagine life without him. He deserves a chance to live with less pain, to keep sharing his gentle spirit with those around him.
