Help Bury Tia Hermie and Andreana

On 1/11/2021, Tia Hermie, 72, was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with COVID-19.  Hours later, her daughter, Andreana, 44, was also rushed to the hospital with the same diagnosis.  Andreana was placed on a ventilator the following day and the prognosis for both mother and daughter was not good upon arrival.

Sadly, on 1/17, Tia Hermie succumbed to the virus.  She fought with every last drop of strength and was completely unaware that her daughter is on a ventilator at a nearby hospital.  Andreana is a true fighter as she has been battling cancer for the last 12 or so years.  Tragically, the Dr.s have informed the family that this will be her final battle. She is currently on life support without any brain activity.

Tia Hermie was a committed mother to Andreana and Leon, grandmother to Anissa and a great grandmother to Anaya and Angel.  The tight knit family is taking a huge hit and there are not enough words or actions to provide comfort.  If you are able to, please consider donating to help alleviate some of the financial burden that their family is sure to face.  Any amount—however large or small—will be a great comfort.  All donations will be given directly to Leon (Tia Hermie’s son and Andreana’s brother) to help with funeral and medical expenses.  Thank you to all and God bless.
