Adam Cothron is a 9-year veteran of the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Serving the Cookeville District, Adam is known for his hard work and exemplary role as a Trooper.

On Friday night, July 19th, Trooper Cothron was working I40 as part of an interdiction saturation. During what should have been a routine traffic stop, Trooper Cothron fell victim to an unprovoked gunshot wound fired by a violent career criminal. Thankfully, he was transported to a critical care unit and is in stable condition. Due to the extensive wounds he sustained, medical providers are preparing to transport Trooper Cothron to Atlanta in hopes that he receives the best therapy possible.

Not only is Trooper Cothron an outstanding professional, he is a devoted Christian, loving husband, and father. He married his high school sweetheart and they have 2 small boys. His trooper family would like to establish this GoFundMe for anyone that would like to help financially support the family while they navigate this season of life.
