Help Hevar Get to Canada to Study Philosophy

My name is Tracy Fuad. I am a poet, writer, and educator raising funds for Hevar, an exceptional former student of mine from Iraqi Kurdistan. Hevar recently received admission to study Philosophy and Psychology at Regina University in Saskatchewan, Canada, a world-recognized university with excellent support for international students like him.

Of my hundreds of students, Hevar stands out in his hunger for knowledge and his motivation for self-study. He is fluent in English and very well-versed in psychology, driven by his passion for the subject and avid reading. He has also sought out and completed online courses in psychology, neuroscience, and moralities of everyday life through EdX, Harvard, and Yale. Now, he's ready to take the next step in his education.

Hevar's ultimate goals are to pursue a career in cognitive science, work as a clinical psychologist, and write books to help people understand themselves and heal their emotional wounds. Considering the accessible lack of psychological and mental healthcare in Iraq, Hevar has the potential to contribute significantly to his home community.

In addition to donations, Hevar has worked over the last four years to save money for this opportunity. Although his family is supportive of his plans, their monthly income of around $800 doesn't allow them to make significant contributions to his tuition.

For Hevar, it’s not just about the education—it's also the opportunities that follow it, including the possibility to earn a citizenship visa after finishing your studies in Canada.
