Help Hibaq build a well - Sadaqah Jariyah

On Monday, January 3rd, 2022, we lost our beautiful Hibaq Mohamed. Hibaq was a loved family member, friend, colleague, and many valuable roles in between. She was a constant reminder of hope, love, kindness, and dedication. She consistently showed unconditional love and was willing to help anyone in need. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and could make anyone laugh with her sense of humor. She truly used humor to demonstrate her level of love and connectedness to others. Many would describe her as driven, smart, ambitious, approachable, social, and a walking light of energy. Her character was indeed a testament to her faith and dedication to making the world more just.

Hibaq was also heavily involved in the University of Toronto community. She completed her undergrad in Kinesiology and also completed her masters of exercise science with a research focus on the differential impact on low-income marginalized communities. She was on track to begin her PhD as well. She was making breakthroughs in research and in the community of physical cultural studies. Many have noted her to be a model student and positive representation in the faculty.

We are currently collecting donations to help build a water well in developing nations, plant trees, and perform other acts of charity worldwide that will exhibit/express an aspect of her impact. We thank and love any support with this.

She was a genuine pure soul with a heart full of gold and will forever be missed. Her spirit, heart, and memories of her will be with us forever. We love you Hibaq.
