Help Hilda fight cancer!

Hi everyone, this is the story of my mom Hilda. A wonderful mother and a wonderful human being. A woman who dedicated her life to helping others. The type person that would do anything for those she loves no matter what. My mom is an incredibly selfless and kind human being who has never once turned away someone in need; even when she needed help herself. Over the years she has built up a huge community of friends and family through her kindness and hospitality alone. Today, my sister and I are reaching out to you all on behalf of our mom because we need your help. In 2019 she was diagnosed with a very aggressive rare type of breast cancer. Through all the pain and difficulty she has had a smile on her face and has become a pillar of our religious community; her faith never once wavering.
Unfortunately the cancer came back and it had metastasized. It has been a tough couple of years but she is a fighter and keeps fighting. Towards the end of August she was diagnosed with brain cancer. On October 2nd 2023 she started receiving chemo through a port she had inserted in her brain. An hour and a half after receiving this treatment we thought we were in the clear, but she suffered a series of seizures that lasted about three minutes. Since then she has been in the ICU two hours away from home. Marimar has been by my moms side since she was about 13 and has pushed through everything with her. Once again, Marimar has been at our mother’s bedside since October 2nd and has not left.
As expected, because of medical bills and expenses, this has been greatly affecting her and my sister’s finances. My sister and I are asking for donations to cover expenses such as medical bills, utilities, transportation, treatment, and other expenses that may arise. Every little bit helps, but if you cannot donate please share the fundraiser and spread the word! Thank you so much for the love and support you have shown my family and I during this difficult time.
