Help Hiro Fight IMHA: Urgent Medical Support

UPDATE: It's with great sadness I share that Hiro passed last night despite the best efforts of the vet team. I want to thank every single person who supported us and gave us the ability to give Hiro the fighting chance he deserved. He will forever hold a place in my heart as our little toasted marshmallow. Hi, my name is Charlie and I need help to get treatment for my dog Hiro. He is a 5 year old Shiba Inu and he’s my entire world. He’s been there for me through abusive relationships, losing family, and so much more. A little over a week ago he was diagnosed with IMHA, which is an immune disorder. After a little over $2k in treatment he was back with me on a host of medications. I am now typing this back at the emergency vet crying because he needs another blood transfusion and to be put on more medication. They are estimating $3k for today, that’s assuming he makes it through treatment. I am here asking for help because I just don’t have anymore money left after the first visit. He is my entire world and deserves every chance he can get. Every person he meets say he is the kindest most loving Shiba they’ve ever met. If you can help at all I will be forever grateful for the chance you are giving my little man.
