Help Hladini Heal after Brain Surgery

Hi, Netchem here, and I'm writing to talk about my dear friend Hladini. She's been such a stable friend that it feels like I've known her for my whole life instead of only eight years. Hladini has been there with me while I planned my wedding, found out I was pregnant and threw me a baby shower. She's supported me threw more than 40 hours of labor with my 1st born and gave virtual support with my second pregnancy.

Unfortunately, at the end of last year, she started getting some alarming health symptoms. From mid-December onward, she struggled with symptoms of nausea, vertigo, dizziness, vomiting, and extreme upper neck pain. In February, she went to the ER because her vertigo was so bad, and it was there that an MRI was suggested. After multiple appointments with her PCP and a bad fall on her head from her vertigo, she finally got an MRI booked.

Her diagnosis came as a complete shock. She found out on April 6th that she has a golf ball-sized tumor in her cerebellum. In addition to the tumor, she has a moderate hydrocephalus and tonsillar herniation of the cerebellum into the brain stem. This diagnosis is the cause behind all of the symptoms, and hopefully, they all go away after she gets brain surgery to remove the tumor. Right now, she doesn't know if the tumor is cancerous or not for sure. She is still waiting to get a surgery date. She is still in pain and dealing with all the same symptoms from the tumors, and her neurosurgeon told her she couldn't drive anymore.

As you can imagine, Hladini has missed a lot of work and will miss a lot more waiting for the surgery to happen and the six-week minimum recovery afterward. The money raised will give her the peace of mind to know she has money to pay her rent, car insurance, monthly bills, money to buy groceries, help keep her mom there to help her and help with any other unexpected things that might come up.
