Holly was diagnosed with triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma (breast cancer) on Christmas Eve at just 34 years old. Her amazing care team at Lankenau and Main Line Health are optimistic because of how early Holly found her lump and how quickly she sought medical advice. Although this news has been incredibly shocking for everyone, Holly has remained strong, facing her diagnosis and treatment journey head-on with such grace and positivity. She plans to continue working and finish pursuing her bachelor’s degree, all while caring for her 4 year old son, Colin.
While undergoing 16 aggressive chemo treatments, surgery and possibly radiation over the next several months, Holly will incur a very large sum of out of pocket medical expenses that will not be covered by her insurance. We would also love for Holly to be able to take time off through FMLA if necessary. Of course, Holly's family and friends have rallied together in incredible ways to provide physical, emotional and financial support for her in every way we can. With the high hopes of a full recovery, we are asking for any donations possible for Holly's treatment and recovery.
