Help Holly lay her dad to rest & reunite her family ina home

My name is Holly Strickland. I am a 45-year-old single mother of a 10-year-old daughter. I am currently in the first stages of pancreatic cancer. I was hospitalized for 2 months and lost my apartment, job, and am now separated from my daughter because we don't have a home yet. I am unable to work due to my illness, and it's been over a year since a disability determination was filed, but no decision has been made yet, even after over a year and 800 medical packets of information.

Recently, my dad passed away on Friday, to be exact. His name is Reid Clayton Huneycutt; some of his friends called him Paw Paw. I am having a really hard time with his passing. He was a former veteran who served our country and was a good dad to us girls. He deserves a respectable burial. As of today, I do not have the funds to claim his body and have him laid to rest as he so deserves. He died of natural causes in his recliner at home on Friday.

I am asking anyone to please help me to be able to lay his body to rest and have a small memorial for him. I can't bear the thought of him not being claimed and buried properly simply because I do not have the means to give him a proper burial without any form of income coming in. I'm trying to find a home and bring my daughter home where she belongs with her mom. But due to my illness, again, I am not able to work at this time and will be unable in the future. Needless to say, I have a full plate at the moment and desperately need the kindness and generosity of others to please help me reach my goal so we can put my dad to rest and possibly work toward a home for my daughter and myself.

I thank each and every person for their donation in advance. My daughter and I are the only family that is left, so there is no family or friend support system. We are desperately depending on the kindness of others' hearts to help us in this time of sadness and need. Funds will be used for burial cost and memorial service, as well as food for the memorial. Any funds ,if any , that are left over after burial will be contributed to deposit and rent on a home for my daughter and I .Thank you so much, and God bless
