Help Honor a Bright Light: Angel's Funeral Fund

Hello, my name is Nichole. On Friday, October 4th, my nephew was shot and killed in Fort Wayne near Weisser Park. I'm starting this page to help my sister, his mother, with the expenses of his funeral and burial. His name was Angel Maldonado; he was only 23 years old. He was the sweetest, most considerate, and most respectful young man you could have ever met. He was an outstanding and very attentive father, and his 4-year-old daughter has inherited the same sweetness and kind manner that exuded so brightly from her dad.

Like most young people, he wasn't thinking his life was going to come to such an abrupt end, so there is no life insurance, and my sister is shouldering all of the financial burden that comes with the loss of her son. I was hoping by making this page we could come together as friends and family and make the financial burden of this terrible tragedy just a little more manageable for her. Sometimes in life, we find ourselves in a position where we have no other choice but to ask for help, and that is what I'm doing here. Thank you and God bless.
