Help Honor Akela's Memory with a Loving Send-Off

Akela Amber Harmony Adamcik-Jennings, daughter to my dear friend, Joseph Jennings, tragically passed away on December 3, 2024, in Columbus, OH, near the train tracks behind her home. She was only 35 years old and had celebrated her birthday just weeks earlier on October 20.

Joseph and his friends and family are devastated and I would like to help them in any small way that I can. Please consider donating to offset memorial costs and other expenses associated with Akela’s death. Akela was a beautiful and caring soul and this loss is immeasurable.

In April 2025, to remember her adventurous and loving spirit, Akela's family is planning to hold a Celebration of Life in Columbus, so her family, friends, and co-workers can join together in honoring her memory. They will also hold a memorial in Athens, Ohio, where we will lay her to rest near her mother’s grave at McDougal Church Cemetery in Bern Township.
