Help Honor Baseball Legend Hilton Smith
Tax deductible
The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM) and the American Association Kansas City Monarchs, join museum member and supporter Kevin Kenney to help raise funds to erect a monument for Negro Leagues Kansas City Monarchs great Hilton Smith.
Hilton Smith is widely recognized as one of the greatest pitchers, if not the greatest pitcher, of his era. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001.
Unfortunately, Hilton is buried in a nondescript gravesite at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri. The proposed design below may be seen in the photos below. The cost to create and erect the monument to Hilton is about $8,000.
All donations will be made to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, allowing donors to claim a charitable deduction for tax purposes. Any remaining additional funds collected over the $8,000 needed will be donated directly to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.

The NLBM formally is a certified charity on GoFundMe. Thanks for your support!
