Help Honor Benjamin "Benamo" White's Legacy

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the unexpected passing of Benjamin "Benamo" White on October 8, 2024.

Always quick with a joke or prank, a helping hand, uplifting words, a song, or an adventure, he made every person he came into contact with feel better. People were drawn to his charisma, humor, intelligence, passion, music, style, and infectious smile. He lived a life fiercely true to his own heart, and influenced many with his uniqueness, strength of presence, and character. His sudden life cut short has left many shocked, and saturated in sorrow.

I am reaching out to ask for your assistance in helping Benamo's family during this incredibly difficult time. No donation is too small, and every bit helps. Your contribution will go directly toward funeral arrangements as well as his "ridicimo" celebration of life memorial services being planned for NY and SC, allowing for time and space to grieve without the added stress of financial worries.

Mental health really matters. We would like to normalize reaching out for support and help when things feel overwhelming or too much to handle by being real and talking about it. It feels uncomfortable, but that's the only way to shatter the stigma surrounding all of it. None of us need to pretend we are okay, slap on a smile, numb ourselves, or think we are weak or less than for reaching out or needing help. A burden shared is a burden lessened, and each of us deserves that. You are never alone, and we rise by lifting others! Please use the help that is available.
