In Loving Memory of Charlie Hall

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Charlie Hall. As many of you know, Charlie was born with kidney disease and throughout his life, he faced countless hospital stays and daily dialysis treatments. Despite these challenges, he continued to work full-time and care for his family. It’s been a long, difficult road for Charlie, but he fought courageously until our Heavenly Father called him home on September 27th.

Charlie leaves behind his partner of over 20 years, Menne Hall, and his most precious gift, his 10-year-old son, Tanoa. Charlie was an exceptional & loving father. Even with his dialysis treatments several times a week, he remained dedicated to providing for his family. That’s the kind of person he was—strong, selfless, and determined. He made the most of every moment with Tanoa, creating lasting memories no matter how tired he felt.

Beyond his devotion to his family, Charlie was a true friend to many. Whether through his work with the City of San Jose or the City of Fremont, or simply through life, Charlie had a unique way of making everyone feel heard and valued. He always brought a smile to your face. He loved deeply, and it showed in everything he did.

As we come together to honor Charlie’s memory, we ask family and friends for their support in easing the financial burden on his family as they prepare to lay him to rest. Please help us celebrate Charlie’s legacy and provide comfort to his family during this difficult time. Your kindness and generosity will allow his family the space to grieve and remember their beloved Charlie without additional financial stress.
