Help Honor Coach Mike Taylor's Legacy

Mike Taylor was our beloved JV and Freshman Boys Basketball coach at Mesquite High School. Coach Mike was also involved with several club basketball teams such as his own team; TME (Taylor Made Elite) and Arizona Grassroots. When he wasn't coaching, he was always training one of "his guys" as he affectionately referred to them.

Mike was involved in an accident coming home from a basketball tournament in California on April 29th where he lost his life. Mike's family, friends and players are devastated to lose him so tragically.

The coaches, players and players' families at Mesquite would like to start a fundraiser to help cover the cost of his funeral expenses. We are reaching out to the large community that Mike has touched to help his family financially at this time.

Please consider donating if you can, as any amount will truly help. We would like to raise $20,000 as soon as possible, in order to cover the cost of Mike's funeral expenses.

The Mesquite Basketball family deeply valued the time, commitment and heart he gave to those boys. All of his players will forever be grateful for the knowledge and passion for the game that he imparted.

It would mean a lot if you could share Mike's memorial fundraiser with others who knew him.

The family would love to invite the community to join with them in the celebration of his life.
