Our beloved husband, father, and tata, Edward 'Lalo' Velasco Carrillo, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, loved ones, and music. We sang to him his favorite songs as he crossed over. Despite his recent health struggles, this came as a painful shock, as he had been deeply committed to his health and 'Longevity Loco' plan of living to 98. We're heartbroken and devastated and left to pick up the pieces in his absence.

The logistics of death and dying are unrelenting and overwhelmingly challenging. If you wish to help the family as we prepare for his memorial and life after his passing, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Eddie succumbed to a difficult battle with colon cancer that was complicated by multiple heart issues. He can now rest in this life as we wait to see him in the next one. Eddie is survived by his wife, 5 children, and eight grandchildren.
