Help Honor Frank's Memory and Legacy

With deepest sorrow, we announce the tragic passing of Steven Gerrard Obote (Frank) on August 2nd, 2024. Frank's life was cut short in a drowning accident at Spanaway Lake in Washington State. He was the beloved son of Eric Obote and Milka Mayaka, stepson to Syndia Kwamboka, and brother to Tahlia and Cameron. A grandchild of the King'oina Kenyuri family of Kemera, Nyamira County. Frank had recently moved to Washington State from Texas, where he lived with his dad in March 2024, to connect with his family in Seattle before starting college in September. His bright future and big ambitions were tragically ended at just 20 years old. He was planning on going to study Biology.

Frank was a very energetic & enthusiastic young man. A vibrant and intelligent person with a passion for learning. His enthusiasm for biology and his helpful nature reflected genuine curiosity and kindness for others around him. Some of his interests were cars and planes which made him fascinated with engineering and technology as well. He was someone who combined a love for knowledge with a generous spirit, making a meaningful impact on those around him.
