Help Honor JoAnne Seeley's Memory

Hi, my name is Angela White and I am the Daughter of JoAnne Seeley. My mom passed away at Valley Medical Center July 21, 2024. Mom was a vibrant, active and obstinate woman. She loved her family, was kind even to people that society rejected, she had a hard exterior but a soft squishy center. Becoming a great grandmother delighted her so much. Atlas was her little "'Puter Boy" She didn't let much slow her down. It was a shock when I woke up Saturday morning and she said she'd been violently ill since 2 am. We assumed she had the flu. But as the day went on she became less lucid and when I saw her start to gasp for air, I called 911. Mom was having a massive heart attack that doctors said lasted for hours. She was rushed to the hospital without much hope. She made it to the hospital and went into cardiac arrest 6 times before they cleared the blocked artery. By then, there was too much damage to her brain from lack of oxygen, and her heart from the multiple cardiac arrests to survive.

Mom had no life insurance and was the breadwinner of our little family. It was my task to take care of the house and the little ones. I have caregivership of my grandson and a foster daughter, both toddlers. It's going to take some time for me to get on my feet, let alone pay for her cremation and memorial. So I am humbly asking for help to give my mother a respectable final send off and to keep me and the babies in our apartment while I get a job so I can pay the rent. Mom would have wanted me to keep taking care of these babies, and I'm determined to do so. I won't let them or her down. I'm determined to keep us going, no matter what I have to do!
