Honor Joy's Memory: Medical & Funeral Expense Donations

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out today with heavy hearts to share the sad passing of Joy Anne Lantz this past Sunday, July 7th.

Joy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and fur mama. Over the past 20 years, she endured and conquered many health issues, including non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, a serious car accident, a bowel blockage requiring a colostomy, and breast cancer. She battled through these issues and the associated chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Just a few short months ago, it was discovered that Joy's breast cancer had returned. We were told it was terminal, but we hoped we had more time to spend with her, and more time to prepare for her passing. Unfortunately, that was not the case when she earned her wings July 7th—no more worrying, and no more suffering.

This unexpected tragedy has left her family devastated and facing overwhelming financial challenges.

As Joy did not have a life insurance policy, we have created this GoFundMe campaign to help support her family during this incredibly difficult time. Your generous contributions will go directly towards medical, funeral and burial expenses.

Joy has always been a beacon of strength and support for those around her. When she was able, she helped the family care for her aged mother, who is now 99 years old and is taking Joy’s death quite hard.
