Help Honor Kevin Kat's Memory

For those who may not know, my dearest love, Kevin Kat, passed on the 27th of July, leaving behind his baby girl who turns 11 months on August 1st, and me, his wife of three years and partner of seven years. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, coworker, and friend. He will always be remembered for his perseverance, humor, and love for his family and friends. He will be so deeply missed.

We received devastating news that Kevin was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, a rare malignant egg yolk sac germ cell tumor, which is usually found in the testicles but was on his back near his spine on February 20th of this year after having been in pain for the last month of his paternity leave. He was suffering from stomach and back pain and he went to urgent care multiple times which resulted in temporary relief before the pain was so severe that he ended up going to the ER and was diagnosed with cancer. He fought long and hard but unfortunately, he lost his battle after being in a medically induced coma for a little over a month from chemo side effects.

We are raising funds for his Traditional Buddhist rites that will last five days and his funeral.

How the funds raised will be used: $10,000 will be used for the rites and the other $10,000 will be for his funeral. Additional funds will be used for any medical, living expenses and funds for our daughter, Evelyn.
