Kierra Andriel Marshall was born July 20, 1994 to the parents of Tamara Jeffries and Lajuane Marshall in Paw Paw, Michigan.
Kierra accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church in Covert, MI. Kierra never left God and wherever she resided she found a church home to attend. Kierra continued her life with the Lord at Lily of the Valley Church in Covert, where she was a faithful member. She graduated from Covert High School in 2012 then furthered her education at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. Kierra joined the National Guards Army Division and received an honorable discharge in 2016.
Kierra departed this life into eternal glory on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024. She is preceded in death by her great grandfather; Melvin Jeffries, great grandmother; Cora Jeffries, great- great grandmother; Laura Davis, great grandmother; Rosie Willhite, aunt; Vanessa Irwin, uncle; Terry Jeffries, uncle; James Jeffries Jr., her twin babies, grandfather; Walt Marshall, grandmother; Jessie Marshall, uncle; Joe Nathan Williams, aunt; Sandra Dora Ndlovu and aunt; Trish McCloud.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her parents Tamara (Tirrell) Jeffries, James (Maxine) Jeffries whom raised her all of her life in Covert, MI; her father Lajuane Marshall of Kalamazoo; her godmothers; Jimmie Bridges, Indianapolis and Terri Jeffries Johnson, Benton Harbor, her daughters; Kamiya Jeffries and Karsen Jeffries of Covert, her siblings: Lajuane Marshall, Zaquarius Jeffries, Tyriek Hall, Damarius Osteen, Brandon Osteen, Harmone Jeffries and Tylin Watkins, all of Covert, Naviah Johnson, Kalamazoo, Desmond Marshall, South Haven, godsister; Jasmine Zungia, Texas and her long-time special friend Vanchino Johnson, Kalamazoo along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
A Wake will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the Funeral at 1:00 P.M, at Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church, 32605 M-140 Covert, MI 49043. Pastor Henry Allen will officiate. Kierra will be laid to rest at Covert Cemetery.
