Help Honor Kimberly Summers

As most already know my mother, Kim Summers, had a fall a few weeks ago and was life lighted to Vanderbilt for a large sub-dermal hematoma. Due to which she sadly suffered damage to her brain stem and more strokes. She had been there with family and friends by her side up until her passing Friday night, September 20th.

She fought as hard as she could to stay with us and also be with us for moments in these last three weeks while in the hospital. She was the strongest woman our family will ever know. We undoubtedly have had the privilege to live life this far with her.

After her car accident in Oct. 2022 and disabailites afterwards she lost her insurance through work, therefore losing coverage for such an event as this. So we have to ask for a little help.

Her wishes were to be cremated and then laid to rest with my father, her husband of 30 years, Richard Summers. We plan to have her cremation done in the next coming days, when permitted, then arrange for a memorial or ceremony at a later date, still to be determined.

Thank you to each and everyone that’s reached out in the last few days and the last few weeks. I haven’t responded much since her passing but I have saw the outpouring and appreciate it and will try to respond when I can.
