In Loving Memory of Laura Licon

Dearest family friends and members of our community,

I come to you today in a special request for prayers and monetary support for her daughters, Crystal and Briana for the sudden loss of their mother, my dear friend Laura Licon. 10 days shortly after celebrating her 44th birthday, on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, Laura suffered a stroke. Due to her underlying health conditions, doctors detected cancer which had spread all over her body.

As we all prayed for her healing and recovery, we were heartbroken to know the hard decision that we needed to make, would change her daughters, her moms, sisters, family, and friend's lives. Laura fought bravely for 3 days while in a coma and on Friday, June 21, 2024, she peacefully passed away, leaving a void in our hearts that can never be filled. Although we are devastated by her sudden passing, we also understand she is no longer suffering or in pain.

Anyone who knew or met Laura knew she was such a free spirit, filled with much kindness, loving, and always the life of the party. The moment she walked into a room she would light up the room with her bright spirit and beautiful smile. She has always been the best mom, daughter, sister, and friend she could be.

Our goal is to provide Laura with a dignified and heartfelt farewell that reflects the love she gave to her children and all those around her. We want to give her the tribute she deserves, a beautiful ceremony that will allow us to say our final goodbyes and find closure in this tragedy. We humbly ask for your support, both emotionally and financially, to give Laura the farewell she deserves. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a significant impact in helping us cover the funeral expenses and provide for her children during this difficult transition. if you are unable to contribute, we ask for your thoughts, prayers, and positive energy during this trying time.
