Help Honor Manuel Delarosa's Wishes

*UPDATE* Unfortunately, My Father has since passed. We are now raising funds urgently to help pay for his services.

Manuel Delarosa is a friend to many, family for a lot, a brother to some, but to me, he was my Dad.

As my Father was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer this past December, this completely shocked the whole family. we banded together to be there for him throughout the whole process. With starting Chemo as soon as treatment was available, this turned into the endless nights, the back & forth trips to & from the hospital. We made it our goal to ensure he was never alone. As the months went by throughout the year, we saw how both the treatments and cancer were affecting not only his body, but his soul.

With trying every possible route their was to cure the cancer, it proved to be ineffective. As July started, we were hit with unfortunate news that he was given only 2 months left to live here on Earth. With this news carried heavy weight to everyone who has ever shared an experience with my Dad. He never deserved any of this. Nonetheless, he kept fighting through all the trials & tribulations. But with the days quickly going, we know the inevitable is coming. My father has said since the news that he doesn’t want to burden us with the financial struggles that a funeral & services comes with. He was always a big believer of having a plan before doing anything, as he has mentioned where he wants to be buried & where the services will be. We as a family are quickly learning how costly these will be. To honor his request, we decided to start this GoFundMe in order to raise funds so that he will get the services he deserves.

I understand this post may be premature considering he is still here with us, but my dad is adamant on not leaving us with financial problems when the time comes. Things tend to move quickly dealing with the funeral homes, burial arrangements, etc. As I received his blessing to create this page in order to raise funds for him.
