In Memory of Mehmet Isikgoz

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of my husband, Mehmet Isikgoz, who left us on September 2, 2024. Mehmet and I met in 2020, and from that moment, our connection grew. We married later that year and in 2021, we welcomed our beautiful son, Kaan, into the world. We cherished life’s simple joys—watching movies, exploring good food, and spending time surrounded by family.

In 2022, Mehmet pursued one of his dreams and started a tent rental business, providing structures for events across New England. He took great pride in his work, always going the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect.

In his final months, Mehmet faced personal struggles that were difficult to overcome, and he tragically took his own life. His absence leaves a void in our family, but we find comfort in the memories we created. We hope to honor his wishes by laying him to rest in his home country of Turkey, a place he held close to his heart.
