Help Honor Michael Bacon's Memory

On Wednesday, July 17th, 2024, Michael Bacon passed away after an over-decade long battle with lupus. For those of you who knew Mike personally, you’re well aware of how drastic his life changed after his diagnosis. Still, and despite his deteriorating health and medical setbacks, Mike lived a life filled with joy, curiosity, and love for his family and friends. Mike’s wife, Katie, was there by his side all throughout his health complications and the two of them, along with their dog Iggi, made the absolute most of the time they had together.

Mike’s passing was far too soon and sudden, which has made it all the more difficult for Katie and the rest of his family to prepare for his memorial services. We are asking for financial support to assist with funeral costs and to organize a celebration of Mike’s life. Katie was Mike’s primary caretaker and had to forego employment so to be with him during the most challenging stint of his medical needs. Part of the money raised here will also go to support Katie in her bereavement so that she may avoid any more financial hardship during this time. We are deeply thankful for all that people are able to give. Please know that any amount will make a significant difference.

Once the details have been finalized, we will be reaching out to family and friends about celebrating Mike’s life as were his wishes. In the meantime, we hope that people take a moment to remember Mike in their own way.
