Help Honor Michal Ciskal's Memory
Donation protected
On July 14, 2024, Michal Ciskal was tragically taken from us on his birthday. While on his way to work, Michal stopped at a gas station where an attempted carjacking by two men took his life.
Michal was an extraordinary and genuine person, known for his kindness and generosity. Eight years ago, at the age of 17, Michal moved from Poland to the United States with high hopes and aspirations. He was the hardest working individual I've ever met, always striving to build a life that would make his parents proud. Despite the distance, he kept a close bond with his family, playing video games with his little brother every Sunday for hours. He even bought his brother a gaming PC to maintain their connection.
Those fortunate enough to have met Michal know how remarkable he was. We are all devastated by his loss and we want to give Michal the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.
We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Michal's funeral. His parents will be arriving to the United States on Saturday July 20th, 2024; funeral announcements will be decided shortly thereafter. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help his family during this difficult time. Thank you for your support.
There will be a Mass intention for the soul of Michal Ciskal Sunday July 21st , 2:00pm at SS. Cyril & Methodius Parish in Lemont IL.
