Help Honor My Aunt Grace with a Proper Resting Place

Hello Everyone,
My name is Michael, and I'm currently a second year medical student. For those who know me well, my Aunt Grace was like a second mother to me, and her unyielding support throughout my life taught me to never give up on my dreams despite the adversity I faced, and to make the most of the life we are all given. Both emotionally and financially, she, alongside many others, have ultimately made it possible for me to afford medical school application expenses, and personally covered the full cost of onboarding fees which allowed me to pursue my studies at my current institution.
Unfortunately, life is not without its many trials and tribulations. Towards the end of 2017, both her and my mother were diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancer, respectively. Despite years of fierce fighting and treatment, my Aunt Grace eventually succumbed to her illness in December of 2023, on the day of my first medical school final. While words cannot describe the difficulty in not being able to say goodbye, in person, to one of the most influential women I have loved and cherished, I know that her love and steadfast approach to life continue to guide me each and every day.
Given the unexpected decline in her condition and untimely death, my family and I were not prepared for such a grievous loss, and attempted to find a suitable plot as quickly as possible in St. Raymond's Cemetery in New York - where many of my family members are also interred. In truth, however, the location of her plot as described on paper, compared to its appearance in reality, are not fitting for a person as benevolent and generous as my Aunt Grace was, to put things lightly. Consequently, over the course of a few months, my family and I worked tirelessly to reserve a new plot in a memorial park closer to home in New Jersey.
While this space will finally serve as a fitting resting place for my aunt, the cost of transferring her remains across state lines in addition to the accompanying fees are costly. Though I have been able to provide my family with some minor financial support, the remaining balance of $4000 will finally be able to secure her new gravesite and relocation costs. I would greatly appreciate any generous individuals to help my family and I during this difficult time, with any amount able to be donated in her memory. Even if you are unable to donate at this time, helping spread the word can make a huge difference.
Thank you all, and God Bless.
