Help Honor Nathan Landes' Memory
Donation protected
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Scott Taylor. My nephew, Nathan Landes, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024.
Nathan was a true treasure to all of us and will be greatly missed.
As many of you know, the costs of funerals can get really expensive. This GoFundMe campaign is being put together to help Nathan's mom, Lynn, have the funds to pay for the funeral expenses. Also, any extra funds will be used to pay for a grave marker.
On behalf of Lynn, anything you can contribute will be greatly appreciated. Please take a moment to read Nathan's obituary below.
Again, thank you so much for your generosity.

Nathan Patrick Landes (1996-2024)
Nathan Patrick Landes, 28 years old, of Towanda, Pennsylvania, went home to be with Jesus at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville after a brief medical emergency on November 17, 2024.
Nathan was born at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA, in 1996. Nathan was born with Spina Bifida, which left him in a wheelchair.
Nathan attended Towanda Area School District, where he enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics. Nathan competed in track and field, swimming, and bowling, and even went to States for bowling, where he won the gold medal. Nathan resided at home with his mom in Monroeton until moving to the Futures home on Maple Street in Towanda as an adult.
Nathan loved the Lord and enjoyed enthusiastically participating in the worship and activities of North Street Community Church in Canton, PA, where he was known and beloved by many.
Nathan's favorite activities included playing games, watching movies (especially Star Wars), doing puzzles, and learning presidential facts. He could answer almost any trivia question someone could come up with about the presidents. He enjoyed participating in Action Quest, where he played baseball among other activities. Nathan also participated in Penn York Opportunities, where he recently became a barista at Java Junction in Athens, PA.
Nathan was loved by his family, which included his dedicated mom, Lynn Landes; grandmother, Patricia Dunbar-Landes; aunts, Marie Taylor, Amber King, and Kerri Leiva-Hernandez; and uncle, David Landes. He will be missed greatly by his church family and his caregivers at the Futures home.
Despite the many obstacles Nathan faced in his life, he overcame them with determination, hard work, and a sense of humor that was uniquely his.
