Help Honor PauL with a Memorial

We are raising money to support a memorial for our friend PauL Stinnett. PauL passed away far too young, last year on July 4th at age 38. PauL was a vibrant being, quick with a joke, and always there for a friend in need. He had a singular honesty to him and was always there to make you feel as though you were the only person in his mind when you were with him.

One of our most cherished memories with PauL was playing disc golf when we all lived in Corvallis, OR. PauL loved playing frolf, and it was always tradition to stop at the 9th hole to enjoy a picnic lunch or rest on the bench before setting out on the back 9.

It is with those warm memories that we are raising money to replace that same 9th hole bench at Willamette Park in Corvallis, OR with a memorial bench for our friend. We have already been working with Corvallis Parks and Recreation and are at the point of paying for the bench itself. This, and having the memorial plaque created are the last steps in creating this lasting tribute to our friend, and a place for future disc golfers to relax and build their own friendships and cherished memories.

We would love your support in making this happen for our friend. The total for the fundraiser is intended to cover all of the costs to purchase, install, and maintain the bench, as well as to create the memorial plaque that will be attached, and pay and service fees associated with Parks and Rec. At the end of the fundraiser, any funds above and beyond the costs of the bench and plaque will be donated to South Corvallis Food Bank in PauL's honor and in memory of his love of cooking.
