Our friend Rudy Malveaux passed away on Sunday, March 23. Since his stroke in 2013, Rudy had been getting by on modest disability payments. Thanks to your friends, we can give Rudy the respectful farewell he deserves, settle his affairs, and provide additional care to his mom, Mrs. Sidney Malveaux.

Rudy's memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11 AM at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 4301 Tannehill Ln, Austin, TX 78721. The service will be followed by a barbecue meal (of course).

Rudy’s pain is over, but his mother, Mrs. Sidney Malveaux, remains in need. Before moving to nursing care last year, she lived with Rudy. Funds raised beyond funeral expenses will support her in this difficult time. Rest assured, she is residing in a good-quality nursing facility in Austin.
