Help Honor Sharmayne's Memory & Support Her Daughters

On Tuesday, January 31, 2023, my family received news that my daughter, Sharmayne Jackson, became a victim of homicide from the Kent PD in Washington.
Born and raised in Alaska, my daughter, Sharmayne, was a kind-hearted and selfless woman, a true lifelong jokester, and an unendingly devoted mother of two. She was the type of person to say hello to everyone and help those in need. She was an amazing mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. Her infectious smile and magnetic personality caused others to gravitate to her and long to be in her presence. Her daughters, ages 11 and 9, adored her and cannot comprehend why someone would take the best mommy in the world away from them.
We have been blessed to have an awesome detective on the case, and after 6 months of searching, he was able to find, capture, and extradite two suspects from California.
Now, following her death, my family and I are facing perhaps our greatest challenge. Justice still needs to be served, but our main worry is the cost of continuing to travel to Washington to make our presence known at each court proceeding and to continue to keep her memory alive by creating a foundation to support mental health, domestic violence, and gun violence. No amount of money will ease the pain of our loss, but we all deeply want to honor the memory of Sharmayne, who brought so much joy to the lives of many. Please consider helping by donating any amount. My family and her daughters greatly appreciate all of your love and support.
