Help Honor Shirley Fox's Final Wishes

I find beginning this post is one of the most difficult tasks I’ve experienced simply trying to find the right words. I am reaching out to the community, our friends, and family for support during this devastating time.

With a heavy heart, I share that on December 24, 2024, Shirley Eva Fox lost her life forever.

My name is Liane. I am the oldest of Shirley’s three children. Along with Danielle (Shirley’s second daughter) and Jared (the son Shirley always wanted), we lost our mother suddenly, shockingly, and so painfully unexpectedly on Christmas Eve. Shirley is survived by her 3 children, granddaughters Mickaela & Bella, her two sisters, nephews, and cousins.

As we navigate this incredibly heartbreaking process of making final decisions and planning our mother’s celebration of life memorial (a party she would have wanted us to have), we kindly ask the community and our friends and family for financial support to help alleviate the costly burden. 2024 has been a brutal year for many of us, especially for Shirley.

Shirley wanted so badly to be able to travel to Arizona and be with her sisters as they released some of their mother’s ashes. Unfortunately, due to her health and back-to-back hip replacement surgeries, even more so the cost of travel, it wasn’t possible. We want to honor our mother’s life and make the trip with her and be able to release both of them together.

All funds received will support the cremation costs, beautiful urn & memorial services. Any remaining donations will be spent on travel costs and will provide us the opportunity to make her wish come true by bringing Mom and Omi together again. Any amount donated is truly appreciated, and we thank you for your support during this unbearably sad time.

We are planning for a “Skwerly Shirley” party in the next couple months - one that she would have loved to dance the night away and will share this update with friends and family in the coming weeks.
