Help Honor the Life of Patcharee Chuskul

"It's so hard to have to write this, but our mom passed peacefully at our home Saturday, November 6th. I know so many of you know how incredible and special my mom was. She put up a tremendous fight against her Alzheimer's for 9 long years all the way to the very end. To say that she's strong and tough feels like an understatement, this woman is a marvel! Many people tell me how incredible of a daughter I am to have cared for her all these years. I didn't do it because I wanted to be a good person or because it was the right thing to do. I did it because of her. Because her power flows through me in a way that's often unfathomable to myself. This is the reason why I've had the strength to fight alongside her. Even in her final moments, she still amazes me with her strength, independence, and heart. "

Patcharee was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2012 and lived a full life till the age of 75. People knew her mostly as the kind owner of Bangkok Inn, where she served the neighborhood of Lakewood with her kindness and cooking for almost 30 years. If you knew my mother and were lucky enough to call her a friend or was touched by her life and story, please honor her by helping us give a proper memorial service for her. We need help in organizing a ceremony at the Thai Buddhist festival in Dallas and her cremation service at Restland. The financial burden falls upon myself, my sister and brother. So any help is much appreciated. Other ways to give are sending money to my brother's Venmo at, @Chuckarin-Chuskul or by attending the memorial ceremony at the Thai temple in Dallas. We will be collecting donations there as well. Thank you for your generosity!
Hug your loved ones for us and take some time to remember the radiantly lovely, silly and goofy, kind and strong, beautiful and magical woman, my mom Patcharee Chuskul. I love you mom.
