In the early hours of April 25, 2024, we lost our little brother Matthew to a violent home invasion in Toronto’s southwest end. His young life was tragically cut short, and the perpetrators have yet to be apprehended. Matthew was a young man of remarkable willpower, focus, and creativity, known for his passion for music and his ability to face challenges head-on. Most of all, Matthew was known for his kindness. He always supported his friends and loved ones in any way he could.

Matt dared to dream and create with a unique genius in both his music and his work. His mantra, “everything is always blessed,” brought comfort and perspective to us all, and we will always love him with all our hearts.

At just 30 years old, Matthew’s passing has left an indelible mark on his friends, family, and particularly his mother and sisters, Ashley and Courtney. The shock and grief are profound.

I am initiating this GoFundMe with the hopes of:

- Managing the costs associated with Matthew’s funeral and any unforeseen related expenses.

- Providing assistance with the care of his two beloved Mastiffs, Adya and Vadim, one of whom is battling Lupus.
